Lucky was born and bred in Rustenburg, he did his schooling in Rustenburg and thereafter he attended number of Universities (i.e. University of Johannesburg and university of Northwest ) where he obtained a Bachelor of law degree , LLB degree , Advance Diploma in Labour Law and Master degree in Labour Law . He was later recruited by Sun International group to assume the position of Labour Relations Officer. He also worked for the CCMA as a commissioner tasked to handle workplace disputes. Having exposed himself to both corporate and public sector he gained understanding of business operations.
